Two official methods — Google Play for most users, direct APK for Huawei and unsupported regions.
Open Google Play Store, search "Kalshi" and tap Install. The official app is published by Kalshi Inc. Automatic updates, Google Play Protect verified, no manual APK management required.
For Huawei devices without Google Play, or if Kalshi is unavailable in your regional Play Store. Download the official APK directly from kalshi.com and install manually. Note: US account required to trade regulated markets.
Before installing any Kalshi APK from outside the Play Store, verify the following.
The official Kalshi APK package name is com.kalshi.app. Always verify this in the Android installer screen. Any different package name means you have a fake APK — delete it immediately.
The official APK is signed by Kalshi Inc. — the CFTC-registered company. Verify this in the Google Play listing or via APK Analyzer before sideloading. Mismatched signatures indicate a tampered file.
Unlike Polymarket, Kalshi uses USD held at FDIC-insured banks — not a crypto wallet. The app will never ask you to enter seed phrases or connect MetaMask. Any app that does is a phishing fake.
For sideloading on Android devices without Google Play access.
Open Chrome on your Android device and go to kalshi.com. Tap the Android download button — the APK file (~35MB) will save to your Downloads folder.
Go to Settings → Security → Install unknown apps, find your browser in the list, and enable "Allow from this source". This needs to be done only once.
Open Downloads, tap the Kalshi APK. Confirm the installer shows app name Kalshi, developer Kalshi Inc., and package com.kalshi.app. Tap Install.
As a CFTC-regulated exchange, Kalshi requires identity verification. Sign up with email, then submit your US government ID and a selfie. KYC approval takes 2–10 minutes. US residents only.
Link a US bank account for ACH deposit (free, 1–3 days) or fund instantly with a debit card. Minimum $10. Trade Fed rate decisions, CPI reports, elections and sports — all settled in USD.

The Kalshi APK can be downloaded globally, but account registration and trading is available for US residents only. If you installed via sideload, the Kalshi app will notify you in-app when an update is available. Download the new APK from kalshi.com and install it over the existing version — your account data is preserved. For hassle-free automatic updates, installing via Google Play is strongly recommended.
